Pakistan reports MPOX case raising fears of the virus spreading outside Africa | Gravitas
#Gravitas | A day after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Mpox a global public health emergency, the deadly disease has been reported in Pakistan. Before Pakistan, Sweden reported cases of the virus that had already spread to 13 African countries. A new variant of the disease has spread from DR Congo, leading to concerns about the virus’s potential to spread beyond Africa.
