The Indian Navy celebrates Navy Day on December 4 to commemorate ‘Operation Trident’. It was the Navy’s attack on Karachi harbour during the 1971 India-Pakistan War. And this year, there’s a new venue hosting the events: the historic Sindhudurg Fort. This is for the first time that the Indian Navy is organising a mega navy day event outside of a major naval station.
