Hamas says UN jumping to conclusions on Israeli captives’ deaths
Mass protests have erupted across Israel against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as his war on Gaza is close to entering a twelfth month.
That’s despite mounting domestic and international pressure to agree on a ceasefire.
Families of captives held in Gaza have been demonstrating in Tel Aviv.
They’re demanding Netanyahu reach an agreement to secure the release of their loved ones.
The UN Security Council is expected to discuss the issue in the coming hours.
Osama Hamdan is a spokesperson for Hamas’s political bureau.
He says Hamas does not need any more talks with Israel – just American pressure to agree to previous proposals.
