Middle East tops the agenda: World leaders urge de-escalation in Lebanon
The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has been a key focus for diplomats, on day 3 of the UN General Assembly.
The US and France put forward a proposal on Thursday, calling for a 21-day halt in the fighting.
But Israel’s prime minister has vowed to continue striking Lebanon.
