With less than a week until the 2024 Presidential elections, former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump is facing backlash from ramping up racist and sexist rhetoric against his Democratic opponent Vice President Kamala Harris.
In 2016, award-winning author Ta-Nehisi Coates wrote in The Atlantic that Trump was “America’s first white president” and “the most dangerous president” because “his ideology is white supremacy.”

In this UpFront web extra, Marc Lamont Hill discusses the 2024 presidential elections with Ta-Nehisi Coates.
