Mozambique opposition urges continued protests over disputed election
Mozambique’s opposition leader Venancio Mondlane has called for nationwide protests to continue amid disputed election results.
Hundreds have taken to the streets since ruling party candidate Daniel Chapo was declared the winner of the country’s presidential election.
At least 11 people have been killed in clashes with police.
Journalists, activists and political opposition say the government is trying to silence dissent.
Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports from the capital Maputo.
