Gaza’s al-Shifa hospital head says situation ‘catastrophic’ as Israeli raid continues
Director of Gaza’s main medical complex, Muhammad Abu Salmiya, tells Al Jazeera the situation inside the facility is “catastrophic” as the Israeli army’s raid continues for a second day.
Israel’s military is still inside Al Shifa hospital after soldiers, supported by tanks, stormed it on Wednesday.
And Israel’s bombing campaign continues across the strip. Dozens of people have reportedly been killed in an overnight strike on central Gaza. The south, where thousands of Palestinians fled for safety, has also been under attack.
