Sanchez wins Spanish parliament’s backing for new term as PM
Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has been re-elected for a second term – ending four months of political deadlock in the country. But parliamentary approval was only secured after he granted a deeply controversial amnesty deal to Catalan separatists.
