EU’s Borrell meets Palestinian President Abbas, Israeli Minister Gantz
EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Minister Benny Gantz . Earlier at a joint news conference with the Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh in Ramallah, Borrell urged Israel not to be consumed by rage in its response to last month’s Hamas attack, declaring that "one horror does not justify another" as Israeli forces wage war in Gaza.
Yaser Alashqar, an academic and specialist on Gaza and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, joins Al Jazeera from Dublin.
