Palestinians face unemployment crisis amid Israeli work permit restrictions
About 200,000 Palestinians worked in Israel before the war on Gaza.
Their earnings contributed an estimated $390m to the Palestinian economy every month.
Now, restrictions mean only a few thousand work permits are issued, leaving most Palestinians in the occupied West Bank out of work.
Some are taking drastic steps to survive.
Al Jazeera’s Zein Basravi reports from Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, Palestine.
