Chad presidential elections: Officials begin collating results
Vote counting is underway in Chad after a Presidential election aimed at ending three years of military rule under the interim president, Mahamat Idriss Deby. He seized power after his father was killed. It’s now up to voters to decide whether to extend the family’s rule.
