More prisoners, captives expected to be released
There seems to be some confusion as to how many Palestinian prisoners will actually be released today by the Israelis.
Some reports indicate that it will be 39, others say that it could be as many as 42. We’re expecting to get clarity on that in the hours to come.
But just the fact that the exchange is still moving forward is a good sign.
That is the mood that we are witnessing in occupied East Jerusalem, and what we have been hearing about in Israel.
What we’re hearing from government officials is that they feel confident that the basis for this ceasefire has been set, the things are going relatively smoothly now.
