In bloody night of attacks, Israeli military steps up strikes across Gaza: AJE correspondent
The Israeli military is intensifying its attacks across Gaza. In the Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza, at least 13 Palestinians were killed after two residential buildings and an evacuation centre were targeted. Most of the victims were children and women, including the sister of Hamas’s political bureau chief, Ismail Haniyeh. Other northern areas have also been targeted. In central Gaza, particularly the Maghazi refugee camp, the Israeli army has bombarded areas, resulting in the deaths of at least five Palestinians. Disturbing images and videos have emerged, showing children being pulled from under a destroyed building and taken to Al-Aqsa Hospital. In the southern part of Gaza, in Khan Younis, at least 10 Palestinians have been killed in separate attacks on the area.
