Amid cost of living crisis, UK election campaigners care little about rising poverty
The cost of living is one of the biggest issues for voters in the UK’s general elections next week.
For some, that means a bigger chunk of their income going to essential spending. But for others in poorer regions, it means an inability to feed their children.
Yet the main parties appear to be paying little attention to tackling poverty in their campaigns.
