Bangladesh protests: Local media reports 17 people killed

Local media in Bangladesh reports that at least 17 people have been killed anti-government protests.
Eleven of the deaths are in the capital Dhaka – and six in other cities.
Hundreds have been injured – several are reportedly in critical condition.
Local reports say protesters have set fire to the headquarters of the main state broadcaster.
Many people are reportedly trapped inside its offices.
Students have been demonstrating for weeks against a quota system for government jobs.
