Israeli army says operations continuing in Rafah
The Israeli military says its troops are continuing “intelligence-based operational activity” in Rafah, southern Gaza. In a situational update, the army claimed on Telegram that troops had “eliminated a number of terrorists in several different encounters” over the past day. Israeli troops have also begun an operation in the Tal as-Sultan area, west of Rafah.
Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum joins live from Gaza’s largest remaining health facility- the Al Aqsa hospital in Deir Al Balah.
