A French ‘referendum’ on the far right: Will Macron’s risky gamble pay off?
France goes to the polls on Sunday for the first round of a snap parliamentary vote.
President Emmanuel Macron took a gamble in calling the election, who likes to be seen as a daring political disruptor and risk-taker.

But if he fails, Macron’ll be remembered as the President who propelled the far-right to power.
Al Jazeera’s Natacha Butler reports from Macron’s home town of Amiens, France.
