A year in captivity: Families desperate to bring loved one’s home
101 captives are still being held in the Gaza strip. For a year now since they were kidnapped from their southern Israeli towns, their families have been campaigning tirelessly for a ceasefire that will guarantee their return.
Al Jazeera’s Sara Khairat takes a look back at the efforts and lack of it, to bring about a deal between Hamas and Israel.
Maoz Inon is an Award-Winning Peace Activist whose parents were killed in the October 7th attacks by Hamas.
He is now working with Palestinian activists to stop the war and release the captives.
