‘American Idol’ alums Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken chat with ET’s Denny Directo after returning to the show 20 years later for the season 21 finale. The season 2 winner and runner-up performed a duet to ‘The Impossible Dream,’ with the help of season 21 winner and runner-up Iam Tongi and Megan Danielle. Ruben says, ‘It’s like going to a high school reunion.’ Meanwhile, Clay talks about how different the show is since they were on it. He says, ‘It’s a concert. It’s a real production, the way this show is done now. We didn’t have a band.’
