Argentina’s Milei to veto pension reform to push through austerity measures
Protests have erupted in Argentina in response to President Javier Milei’s plans to veto an increase in the minimum pension. The Senate approved the bill which increases retirement benefits by more than eight percent, which Milei has described as irresponsible and exorbitant.
