The United Kingdom has reportedly rejected Sheikh Hasina’s request for political asylum. Initially, it was expected that the ousted Bangladesh Prime Minister would travel to London on Monday night. However, the latest information suggests that Hasina did not seek asylum in India and that her appeal for asylum in the UK was denied. Earlier, Hasina had arrived at the IAF’s Hindon Airbase near Delhi.
