Benjamin Netanyahu’s popularity plummets: Many Israelis blame his government for Oct 7
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is starting the New Year with his lowest ever approval rating.
He’s been prime minister for 16 years in total – over three terms in office.
But now surveys suggest more than half of Israelis believe his time in power should end now – pointing to security, intelligence and political failures leading to the Hamas attack on October 7th.
