Case dismissed against migrant rescuers: Italy accused NGOS of aiding human traffickers
In Italy, a seven-year legal case against migrant rescuers has ended with all charges against them being dropped. They’d been accused of aiding illegal migration, but activists said it was an attempt by the authorities to stop aid workers from helping those at risk on the high seas.
