Celebrating Taiwanese identity: Previously banned dialect makes a comeback
In Taiwan, February 28 is the anniversary of the 1947 crackdown by the Chinese nationalist government.
77 years on, Taiwanese celebrate an identity very different from the one they believe was forced on them by mainland China.
And one of the ways they’re doing so, is by reviving a language previously banned in public life.
