China’s Lunar New Year travel chaos: Snowstorms disrupt plans for millions

Freezing weather conditions in parts of China have disrupted the busiest travel season in the country. People flocking home for the Lunar New Year have been stranded on trains and cars along snowy highways. Despite the challenges, the government still expects a record 9 billion trips to be made during the 40-day travel rush.
