Cholera outbreak: More than 2,200 cases in Red Sea State

A humanitarian crisis in Sudan is deepening, as the conflict between the army and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces enters its ninth month.
In Port Sudan, the capital of the country’s eastern Red Sea State, a lack of medical supplies is hampering the treatment of thousands of new cholera cases.
