Continued brutal Israeli aggression completely incapacitated the health system in the Gaza strip
Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesperson for the Health Ministry in Gaza, says at least 15,899 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7.
He further stated that 70% of the victims of Israeli attacks are women and children, with the number of injured reaching 42,000 since the commencement of the war.
Israeli forces continue to detain 35 medical personnel, including the director-general of al-Shifa Hospital, Mohammed Abu Salmiya, subjecting them to very harsh conditions.
The collective plea calls on the United Nations and the World Health Organization to exert pressure for the release of their teams in occupation prisons.
Additionally, they demand the provision of a safe passage for the entry of medical supplies and fuel, as well as the exit of the wounded. Their appeal extends to the protection of hospitals, health, and humanitarian teams.
