ECOWAS emergency session: Bloc’s foreign ministers call for unity
West African foreign ministers are calling for unity within regional bloc ECOWAS.
They’ve held an emergency session to try to dissuade Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger from leaving the alliance.
Talks of exiting have divided the group and raised questions about its future.
