Ecuador in the dark: President announces reduction in daily power cuts
Ecuador’s president Daniel Noboa has announced power cuts will be reduced to eight hours a day starting on Friday. The South American nation has been hit hard by the worst drought in 60 years – as it depends on hydroelectric energy.
