Former Pakistani PM Imran Khan and his wife have been sentenced to 14 years in prison
Former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan and his wife have been sentenced to 14 years in prison for corruption related to the sale of state gifts.
It comes just one day after Khan was convicted of leaking official secrets and separately sentenced to 10 years in prison.
He was pushed out of office in a no-confidence vote in 2022.
Khan has also been disqualified from holding public office.
He’s already serving a three-year prison sentence in a corruption case.
