France: Macron’s immigration bill rejected by parliament in surprise vote
French President Emmanuel Macron has suffered a surprise defeat in parliament.
That is after far right and left wing MPs rejected a key immigration reform bill supported by his government.
The draft law was thrown out before it could be debated.
