Children often wait in long lines for water instead of attending school. Displaced families struggle to find potable water, often waiting hours to fill containers. The scarcity also affects farmers, with crops suffering from a lack of irrigation, drastically reducing their yields. The harsh conditions have led to health issues, including fever and stomach viruses, due to unsafe water sources.
