Germany coup plot trial begins: Nine defendants face judges
Nine people have gone on trial in Germany accused of attempting to seize Parliament and overthrow the state. The accused include an aristocrat, a former judge and two senior army officers. In total 26 people are being prosecuted in three related trials in what is being called one of the most complex cases in recent German history.
