From the Himalayas to the high seas, India has ramped up military modernisation efforts to counter China. In the latest, Indian Defence Panel has cleared a massive deal that includes the buying of 97 Tejas fighter jets, and 156 Prachand combat helicopters.
India will also add a nearly $5 billion aircraft carrier, marking India’s determination to further secure her position in the Indian Ocean region.
