Haiti extends state of emergency: Public gatherings banned & curfew prolonged
A state of emergency in Haiti has been extended by a month as armed gangs continue their attacks.
That includes setting fire to a police station and looting a food market.
Gang leaders are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry, who remains stranded abroad.
Al Jazeera’s Teresa Bo reports from Dajabon, in neighbouring Dominican Republic.
