Healing the Pain for Generations | Allies of Hope
Dr Waheed Arian is an accident emergency doctor, as well as a physician who provides mental health services online. Dr Arian is also a former refugee from Afghanistan. During the 1980s, conflict forced him and his family to flee to Pakistan as refugees. It was not long after their eventual return that the country fell into civil war, and again, Arian sought refuge abroad. Arriving in the UK, he applied himself to acquiring an education, and in 2010 graduated as a doctor. Determined to help those in need, and searching for a safe and stable future, he founded Arian Wellbeing, and along with other mental health professionals, he provides services and guidance to refugees and psychological specialists, to help them heal while sharing his knowledge and experiences.
