Human rights violations in Colombia: State condemned for persecution of lawyers collective
The Colombian government has been condemned for its decades-long persecution of one of the country’s main human rights groups.
It is the first time an international tribunal has issued such a broad sentence against the Colombian State.
And the ruling by The Inter-American Court of Human Rights could have repercussions for the rest of Latin America.
