Ibrahim’s Paradise | Allies of Hope
Ibrahim was at school in Syria when war changed his life. Like thousands of his fellow Syrians, he was forced to leave and take refuge in Iraq. The UNHCR refugee camp in Duhok provided shelter and security for Ibrahim, who was able to complete high school and was awarded an undergraduate scholarship to study computer science. Through his education, hard work and imagination, Ibrahim has electronically harnessed the biofeedback of house plants in such a way that that has allowed them to, in a manner, sing.
