India floods: Hundreds stranded after ‘record rain’ in Tamil Nadu
More than 20 people have been killed and hundreds of others displaced by floods in several districts in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The met department says unprecedented rains dumped more than 20 times the volume of water usually seen during this time of year bringing life to a standstill.
