In India, tens of thousands of women are taking part in a protest march, following the brutal rape and murder of a junior doctor in the city of Kolkata.
Several cities have disrupted hospital services, with demonstrators calling for transparency and better safety measures.
A police volunteer has been detained, but demonstrators say, they want authorities to investigate further.
