Invincible is notorious for its pop culture references, including references to the other superhero content like the MCU. Grom here being a prime example. With his purple skin and scrotum chin he’s clearly a play on Thanos. His “kneel before Crom” line is also a reference to the Superman villain, Zod, and his catch phrase, “kneel before Zod.”
