Israel ‘flag day’: Ultra-nationalist Israelis hold march
Ultra-nationalist Israelis have been marching through occupied East Jerusalem as part of their so-called ‘flag day’ celebrations. The event marks Israel’s illegal occupation of the area after the 1967 war. Participants were heard chanting ‘death to Arabs’ while marching through a Palestinian area of the city.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet has banned Al Jazeera from reporting in Israel, so Imran Khan reports from Amman.
