Israel refusing entry to medical teams working on polio campaign: Gaza officials
The World Health Organization says polio vaccinations have begun in Khan Younis in southern Gaza but the Palestinian Health Ministry says Israeli forces are refusing to coordinate the entry of vaccination teams into the area.
The Ministry is appealing to “concerned parties” to intervene.
More than 189,000 children have been inoculated against the disease.
