Israeli military bombs Baalbek: Attack follows forced displacement order
Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati says he hopes a ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel will be announced ‘within hours or days’. It comes as the Israeli military launches heavy air strikes on the ancient city of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon. A short while before the bombardment, the Israeli army is-sued forced evacuation warnings, ordering people to flee their homes.
