Israeli raids in occupied West Bank: Army blows up a house & kills one in Qalandiya camp
Israeli occupation forces raided the Qalandiya refugee camp to demolish the family home of Muhammad Manasra, a Palestinian killed in February during an attack on an illegal Israeli settlement. Violence ensued, with Israeli forces using live fire, resulting in one fatality and eight injuries. Neighbours are struggling to process the events, dealing with destruction and low morale. People in the occupied West Bank continue to face similar scenes of displacement and grief. In Tubas, an undercover Israeli force killed a Palestinian customs officer, while fires from settler attacks consumed cars in Huwara. In Bala’a, a 13-year-old boy was fatally shot by Israeli forces during a raid. Life in Qalandiya carries the scars of occupation, with more expected to come.
