Judge denies new trial for Alex Murdaugh

Alex Murdaugh, the former South Carolina lawyer who was convicted last year of killing his wife and son, will not receive a new murder trial, a judge ruled Monday. Murdaugh’s attorneys alleged the court clerk tampered with the jury that last year found him guilty.
