Lebanon’s southern villages desolate as Israel-Hezbollah conflict forces residents to flee homes
Israel and Lebanon-based group Hezbollah have traded near-daily strikes since Israel launched its war on Gaza last year.
Hezbollah says it opened the front against Israel on October 8th in solidarity with Palestinians in the Strip.
However, tens of thousands of civilians in Southern Lebanon – have been forced to flee, due to Israeli strikes there.
Al Jazeera’s Assed Baig met some people who remained in the village of Kfar Hammam in Southern Lebanon.
