‘Nowhere near enough’ resources in Gaza, says Norwegian Refugee Council
Pressure is mounting on Israel and Egypt to reopen the crucial Rafah border crossing to allow aid deliveries into Gaza.
Talks are expected in Cairo between Egypt, Israel and the US.
Israel took control of the crossing last month and hundreds of trucks carrying desperately needed aid are being held at the border.
Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum has more from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.
Ahmed Bayram is the Norwegian Refugee Council’s Middle East Spokesperson.
He says resources on the ground are depleting, and very little aid has made it into Gaza in the past month.
