The United Nations General Assembly is holding a special session on the situation in Gaza. Palestinian ambassador Riyad Mansour addressed members, calling for a permanent ceasefire and an end to the Israeli occupation.
Ambassador Mansour has so far called on the UN to reaffirm its “permanent responsibility towards the question of Palestine,” and for the end of the “grave and historic injustice Palestinians have borne for over 75 years, since the start of the Nakba.”
