The leader of Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis said on Tuesday (February 13) that the group had been able to prevent Israeli-linked ships from passing through the Gulf of Aden over the last week.
"Neither were the Israelis were able to protect the passage and movement of their ships through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, nor did the Americans and the British succeed in doing so. Their failure and our country’s success, thanks to Allah, in achieving its goal of preventing the passage and movement of ships associated with the Israeli enemy, is a victory over all of them," Abdul Malik al-Houthi said in a televised speech.
